Himachal Pradesh Scholarship Scheme and Its Eligibility Criteria

In Himachal Pradesh, the scholarship schemes are offered with different fields like centrally sponsored schemes, state-sponsored schemes, and the technical education scheme. The technical education scholarship schemes are of several forms which are very useful for the candidates who are studying UG or PG courses or any other degree. The scholarship is also provided for the students who are doing diploma course and also for the ITI students.

Eligibility criteria for degree students:

The scholarship is provided for the students who are studying candidates who are studying UG or PG courses or any other degree. Engineering students are having the best offer to get the scholarship immediately. These scholarships are all provided by the government of Himachal Pradesh with the AICTE (Approved by the India Council for Technical Education.

1. Two modes are available to provide the scholarship one is based on the brilliance and for the candidate who are below the poverty line.
2. The scholarship is provided only for the candidate whose parent’s salary is not more than the Rs. 36, 000 per annum. 
3. The scholarship providing will fall under two categories parents income and the marks which the students are obtained at the time of their studies.
4. Student must score above 60 percent to get the scholarship whereas this is not applicable for the SC/ST students.
5. Initially the scholarship will be provided under below poverty line. After those candidates can use that and develop their finance, and then the remaining scholarships will be provided on the basis of the candidate brilliance.
6. The students must belong to the Himachal Pradesh state to get the scholarship.
7. The amount of scholarship for the student who is studying candidates who are studying UG or PG courses or any other degree is Rs. 300 per month and for SC/ST applicants is Rs.500 per month.
8. In general, the government will have the count and the count will be for the double check process to provide the scholarship.
9. The student who is studying candidates who are studying UG or PG courses or any other degree will be of 175 nos.
10. For SC/ST candidates the scholarship is guaranteed for 100 percent. 
11. Eligibility criteria for diploma students:
12. Here the eligibility criteria are same as that of degree courses but the variation will be based on the amount.
13. For SC/ST applicants the amount is Rs.200 per month.
14. The total will be 75 nos.

Eligibility criteria for ITI students:
Scholarship for SC, ST and OBC is of Rs. 250 per month.
RS. 100 per month for general category candidate.
